A Visit
syria is the kind of place where, within minutes of your arrival, you are transported into an old, 35mm, black and white family movie state, where achingly beautiful scenes bring you back to a not-so-far-away past where life was a bit more simple and pleasures were a bit less hard to reach.Jimmy, has a wonderful recollection of his Syria visit, with a number of breathtaking photos.

I am so in love with Syria from the cities I have visited whic are Homs, Lattakia, Tartus, and Damascus. I have been more than 4 times to Lattakia and for relatively long stays. I also visited Damascus for a weekend with our photography tutors and thus I saw and experienced Damascus through the lens of a camera and that alone is a very different experience. It allows for a deeper inspection and as Jimmy says, it becomes evident that Syria is not just any Middle Eastern Country....
